The AGM was the opportunity for networking, personal introduction of members and the development of business relations. Following speakers had their presentations: Marcin Herra – Head of the MEN’s EHF Euro 2016 , Sven Pasch Dir. Sport Events Hilton Worldwide, Jordi Secall -Catalonia Tourist Board and Dr. Shamendra Talwar – Football for Unity Charity Foundation. ISTAA Code of Conduct was accepted by the General Assembly. ISTAA members discussed cooperation opportunities focused on Euro2016, Olympic Games in Brazil as well as other important events in 2016 & 2017.
The session was followed by the tour of Chelsea FC and more networking was possible at the Gala Dinner at „Marco Grill”. The International Sports Travel Agencies Association ISTAA, registered in Zurich, has 93 members in 48 countries on 5 continents, brings together leading professional travel agencies specializing in sports tourism, service of sports associations and National Teams.
