Company figures show net profits rose from £2 million in 2009 to £7 million in 2013 and in 2014. Total sales increased from £70 million to £166 million, with the overseas component up from £50 million to £140 million. The number of employees in the UK rose from 51 to 242. Now in its 41st year, JacTravel is one of the world's premier suppliers of online hotel bookings. The company is also a market-leading provider of tailored tours to groups visiting the UK and Ireland, including an established sports division offering bespoke sports tours and a range of services around sporting events such as Premiership Football, Euro 2016, 6 Nations Rugby and NFL.
The company serves 92 countries worldwide, with a portfolio of over 12,000 directly contracted and over 100,000 indirectly contracted hotels. It handles 1.5 million bookings annually; has a global distribution network of 20,000 travel partners and 14 offices employing more than 500 staff.
