ISTAA Founding Member, P&A Sullivan Ltd. joined Citrus Travel Ltd. in July 2021.
This merger now presents Citrus Travel Ltd with three departments: CITRUS Leisure, CITRUS Meetings & Events and CITRUS Luxury.
Citrus still has the same heart, only empowered with younger blood 😊 … Their logo and email address will fit in with their new vibrant branding.
As done in previous years, Citrus will continue to retain their position in Malta as one of the leaders in sports tourism, mainly specialising in Football, Swimming, Netball, Hockey, Rugby and Cricket training camps and matches.
The company will carry on providing extensive local destination knowledge and great preferential rates for hotel rooms, ground transportation and excursions in Malta.
They are updated on the latest education, standards, and practices within the travel industry.
Although, former owner and director, Andrew Sullivan is on the road to a nice and peaceful retirement, he of course is still very much in the picture.. just playing a quieter role.
Director Matthew Scicluna is now at the helm backed by the assistance of a growing and professional team.
We can positively communicate that this move has brought with it a multitude of new opportunities and exciting projects.
The Malta Tourism Authority is committed to support Sport Event Tourism Operators when confirming tourism and business to the Maltese Islands. This is why they have launched a scheme which is targeted towards companies whose area of business is specifically Sport Events Tourism.
The current scheme with a budget of €1.5 million offers a contribution towards tourists visiting the Maltese Islands for Sport Events in 2021/2022. The purpose of the visit should be solely Sport Events oriented. You may find more details here.
